LIVE DRUMMER
Introducing DJ Retro Mitch. A unique live DJ performance for your next party, event or private concert. DJ Retro Mitch blends the most popular custom made karaoke dance music along with his powerful electronic drumming skills to create a new fun way to provide dance music for an event. With over 150 songs in his current setlist from numerous bands like Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, INXS, Dua Lipa, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Bruno Mars, Duran Duran, George Michael, Janet & Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Prince, NSYNC, Rhianna, Earth Wind & Fire, Van Halen as well as many others. DJ Retro Mitch can also learn a song for your event too! You can let your audience call out any song they like similar to a traditional party DJ or you can create custom sets for your event. If your party is themed around the band Depeche Mode, DJ Retro Mitch has a 100 minute concert of their music. Please enjoy some clips below from previous shows and/or click HERE for a link to the playlist from my 3-hour show on February 6, 2026.

DRUMAOKE
KAR•A•O•KE
/ˌkerēˈōkē/
a form of entertainment, offered typically by bars and clubs, in which people take turns to sing popular songs into a microphone over prerecorded backing tracks.
“a karaoke bar”
DRUM•A•O•KE
/ˌdrumēˈōkē/
a new form of entertainment, offered exclusively by RETRO MITCH, where people go to a dance club, private party or the metaverse to be entertained by amazing original lyric videos on a GIANT video screen, while a professional electronic drummer plays along to popular CUSTOM pre-recorded backing tracks. This will propel the crowd to sing-along and dance to their favorite 1980’s TRIBUTE BAND for hours! Below are 6 of the many videos I have made to play behind my fog soaked electronic drum set on a HUGE video wall. See you on the dance floor…

ABOUT
Mitch grew up in Los Angeles, where he began his musical journey playing in hard rock bands. In the 1980s, he moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he owned a recording studio on Pearl Street and became deeply involved in music production and electronic drums.
He earned the name Retro Mitch thanks to his patented invention, the Retroflex Drumsticks for e-drums, as well as his insatiable love for the foundations of vintage electronic drumming and his work performing in new wave and synth rock bands.
Today, he brings his heavy grooves and passion for ’80’s-2000’s dance, synth rock, soul, hip hop, hard rock, R&B, funk, and blues to The DJ Drummer Show.
